The fast and reliable Airport Express rail service takes passengers from the airport to Hong Kong Station in 24 minutes. Hong Kong Station (Central) is just 3 MTR stations away from HKU campus. Total travelling time from the Airport to HKU is only 40 minutes.
Hong Kong's public transport can satisfy all the needs of tourists. The land transport in Hong Kong comprises taxis, MTR, buses, minibuses, and tramways. On the sea travelers may use ferries. Travelers can pay for their trips by cash or buy the Octopus Card and use it to travel on the MTR, buses, ferries or trams. If you stay in city center, then you can easily get around on foot or on MTR to many areas of Hong Kong Island or Kowloon.
